



Barbra Boeta is a trusted business and community development leader at Texas Capital, where she helps drive strategic growth while championing inclusion and opportunity. She holds a BA in Psychology from St. Edward’s University in Austin and is heavily involved in the Austin community, partnering with numerous local nonprofits to advance meaningful causes.
Before joining the firm, Boeta served as Executive Director of the Economic Growth Business Incubator (EGBI), where she helped launch and grow thousands of small businesses, many led by underrepresented entrepreneurs. Her work has had a lasting impact on Austin’s economic landscape, particularly in underserved communities.
Barbra has built her career on creating connections, uplifting underrepresented entrepreneurs, and helping women navigate pathways to success. She is recognized by her peers as a collaborative problem-solver who leads with vision and heart. Barbra’s work continues to expand access to capital, mentorship, and resources for businesses across Central Texas while inspiring future Latina leaders.
Susana Carbajal currently serves as Assistant City Manager for the City of Austin, where she oversees the City’s Human Resources Department, Small & Minority Business Resources Department, Austin Resource Recovery Department, Watershed Protection Department, and Animal Services Office. A proud Coronado High School T-Bird, Susana has spent over 14 years serving the City of Austin in strategic leadership roles, guiding citywide policy, operations, and enterprise-wide management practices for the City Manager’s executive leadership team.

Previously, Susana served on the executive leadership teams at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and the City’s Economic Development Department, where she led initiatives in business development, tenant management, global expansion, redevelopment services, workforce development, and community-building. Earlier in her career, she worked on a number of political campaigns and in several government administrations, and also practiced corporate bankruptcy law at Husch Blackwell (formerly Brown McCarroll, LLP).

Susana holds a law degree and has built her career on a deep commitment to public service, economic vitality, and creating opportunities that strengthen communities across Austin.

Dr. Alejandra Gaytan is a trailblazing educational leader dedicated to advancing equity and access in schools. She brings over 10 years of experience in nonprofit work focused on strengthening access to education for underserved populations through program management and strategic planning around college readiness, mental health, and trauma-informed practices with community members, school district leaders, faculty, and staff.

Currently, Dr. Gaytan serves as Community Outreach Program Manager for St. David’s Foundation Dental Program, where they lead efforts to bring dental care and education to schools and families across Central Texas. Passionate about building strong relationships and expanding access to care, she works closely with schools, clinics, and community partners to improve the health and well-being of children and families.

She previously worked at a federally qualified health center (FQHC) in El Paso, where she focused on teen pregnancy prevention, chronic health support services, increasing awareness of the role of community health workers (CHWs/Promotoras), and strengthening ties between K–12 schools, higher education institutions, and community-based organizations.

In additional to being a proud Bel Air graduate, Dr. Gaytan recently earned her Doctorate in Education from Johns Hopkins University with a focus on Mind, Brain, and Teaching, and holds both her undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. In her spare time, she enjoys visiting family and friends, walking her dog Bingo, running, exploring new coffee shops, and traveling.

Angel Leverett is the Vice President of Marketing & Communications for Austin Habitat for Humanity, where she leads strategic storytelling, brand development, and community engagement. She played a key role in securing Austin as the host city for the 2025 Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project, an international event that will spotlight affordable housing efforts in the region.

She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas State University, where she now serves as a mentor for the McCoy College of Business Undergraduate Mentorship Program and as the Professional Advisor for the nationally recognized Bateman Case Study Competition team.
Her contributions have earned recognition through the Gladys Whitley Hearst Outstanding Member Award from Women Communicators of Austin, Ad2Austin’s 32 Under 32, and the Austin Woman Magazine 2025 Change Maker Award.
She is also a graduate of Leadership Austin’s Emerge Program and currently serves as President of Women Communicators of Austin and founder of the organization’s Communicators of Color Affinity Group.

Steve Riddick is the General Manager of Toyota of North Austin, where he brings a people-first approach to leadership and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. A proud graduate of Chapin High School, Steve has carved a path of success in the hospitality and automotive industries through hard work, authenticity, and relentless commitment to excellence.

As former defensive lineman for the UTEP Miners, he was a key contributor on the field, known for his strength, consistency, and competitive drive as part of the team’s defensive lineup. What truly sets Steve apart is his heart for giving back. He goes beyond the demands of his role to serve the greater good, using his platform and resources to uplift and empower others. One of the organizations he is especially proud to partner with is the 100 Black Men of Austin, a group dedicated to improving the quality of life within communities and enhancing educational and economic opportunities for African Americans. Through mentorship, sponsorship, and strategic support, Steve plays an active role in helping young men envision and achieve a brighter future.
